Q: Who should attend the Charlotte Diesel Super Show?

A: This event is open to anyone looking for a fun-filled weekend of truck drags, entertainment, and demos! Anyone with an interest in heavy or medium duty trucks or equipment, including home enthusiasts, owner operators, for-hire trucking company management, company drivers, private fleets and all others aligned with the trucking or construction industry.

Q: Are children welcome?

A: Absolutely. Please bring the entire family. Children ages 6 and under are admitted FREE if accompanied by a ticket holding adult.

Q: How much does it cost to attend the Charlotte Diesel Super Show?

Adults $20.00 for 2-Day Pass

Children 7-16 $10.00 for a 2-Day Pass

Children 6 & Under FREE

Q: What are the payment options for General Admission?

A: Cash & Credit Cards

Q: Can I purchase advanced tickets?

A: Absolutely. Advanced tickets can be purchased by calling 800-455-FANS (3267), through Ticketmasters, or online at www.dieselsupershow.com.

Q: Is there an ATM on-site?

A: Yes. Please note that only ONE ATM is available onsite. It is near the front ticket booth located next to the main gate. We recommend bringing cash to the event.

Q: Who is eligible to Race?

A: Anyone with a diesel truck and a desire to go fast. All racers must be 18 years or older, licensed, and insured. NHRA rules will apply. Helmets are required.

There will be 3 classes:

1. Bracket Racing: Includes working class diesel trucks with at least 20″ wheel rims
2. Exhibition Class: Includes all non-working, modified, or super drag trucks.
3. Diesel Powered Pickup: Limited to first 32 trucks signed up.

Q:Who is eligible for the Friday Fun Drive on the zMAX?

A: Everyone can participate in this one! The Friday Fun Drive is available to any licensed person who is 18 years of age or older and owns a vehicle – diesel not required. Each Fun Drive will cost $15.00 in advance or $20.00 at the gate. Included is a commemorative 5×7 photo set inside a glass frame. Photographs will be available for pick-up following your cruise down the Dragway. A LIMITED number of Fun Drives are available on Friday ONLY from 12 pm – 6 pm. Q: Can I leave the show and return at a later time?

A: Yes. An armband will be issued upon purchase of your Diesel Super Show Ticket. This armband will allow you to leave and re-enter as needed, both days.

*Armbands MUST be worn for entry into the show. Armbands are non-transferable, non-exchangeable and cannot be replaced. They cannot be removed and must be worn both days to allow entry.

Q: Will vending be available onsite?

A: Yes. Onsite vending will be available. The accepted method of payment for vending is cash.

Q: Will truck parking be available and can I park my truck overnight?

A: Yes. There will be a separate lot designated for Trucks. All parking is free of charge with the purchase of a Charlotte Diesel Super Show ticket.

Q: Is there vehicle/motorcycle parking for the general public?

A: Yes. Onsite public parking is available for vehicles and motorcycles. All parking is free of charge with the purchase of a Charlotte Diesel Super Show ticket.

Q: Will handicap parking be available?

A: Yes. There is limited handicap parking onsite. All parking is free of charge with the purchase of a Charlotte Diesel Super Show ticket.

Q: Will handicap scooters & electric wheelchairs be permitted?

A: Handicap required devices such as scooters and electric wheelchairs are permitted. Under no circumstance will golf carts, ATV, or motorcycles be allowed inside the venue.

Q: Can I park my RV or Camper in the truck parking lot at the Charlotte Diesel Super Show?

A: RV and Camper parking will not be permitted in the truck parking lot. Camping is available next to the zMAX Dragway through Tom Johnson Camping Center Racing Resort at Charlotte. For more details and information, please call 704-455-4445 or email camping@charlottemotorspeedway.com.

Mention the Charlotte Diesel Super Show and Camp for a discounted fee per night. Sites are back in with onsite water, sewer, and electric.

Q: Is alcohol allowed inside the show?

A: No outside alcohol will be allowed. Beer will be sold inside the gates.

Q: Are pets allowed?

A: Pets are not allowed inside the gates of the Charlotte Diesel Super Show. If you bring your pet to the parking lot, it must be leashed and under your control at all times. Please remember, you are legally responsible for your pet’s actions.

Q. What items can I bring into the event?

A. Blankets, Small Umbrellas (hand-held style), Baby Strollers, Binoculars, Cameras, Backpack (must fit under seat)

*All personal items are subject to search upon entry or re-entry. Please leave large bags at home.

Q: What items are prohibited?

A: Weapons of any kind, Illegal Substances, Alcohol, Glass Containers, Food or Beverages, Coolers, Personal Vehicles of any kind including skateboards, scooters, golf carts, ATV’s, motorcycles, and bicycles, Fireworks or Explosives, Large Umbrellas, Tents, and Pets (except service dogs)

*Unauthorized solicitations, sampling, and give-a-ways are prohibited.

Q. What do I do if I find or lose an item?

A: During the show Lost & Found will be located at the show store next to concessions. Please turn in any found items at this location. The Charlotte Diesel Super Show and Randall-Reilly Publishing will not be held liable for any lost or unclaimed items.

Q. What is the closest major airport?

A. Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) is located about 25 minutes south of zMAX Dragway off of Exit 33 on I-85.
